While the Director of Communications at the American University of Armenia, I, along with my team, developed and produced several videos and secured media coverage for university programs. The following is a sample of that work.

Data Science Series
The university was launching a new data science program and needed to get the word out and ensure there were applicants. My department worked on a series of videos where we conducted interviews with experts, businessmen, and faculty about what data science is (and we popularized a new term in Armenian to describe it) and the opportunities in data science for those deciding on a future career path. The following video is a mashup of all the videos we made.
Summer Study in Armenia
International students are able to participate in a study abroad program over the summer run by AUA. This was a promo spot we put together to increase enrollment in the program.
Engineering Solutions
We needed to think of a way to increase enrollment in the university’s engineering program. My department got in touch with the country’s top engineering firm and we spoke to one of the co-founders about the challenges in engineering today and how engineers and companies like his are working to solve those.

Republic of Armenia Presidential Candidate (current president) Armen Sarkissian visited the American University of Armenia campus.

Other Videos
Army Day
Most of Armenia’s men, including those going to college, serve for two years in the national army. As a token of our appreciation for their service, we prepared this video that was released in 2018 on Army Day, a national holiday.
Women’s Day
Women’s Day is another important holiday in Armenia and we filmed this video with our male faculty, staff, and students to express our appreciation for the women in our lives.
Holiday Message from the President
My department filmed annual Christmas and New Year messages from co-founder and then-president of AUA, Dr. Armen Der Kiureghian.
